Trivia:

Well oh well, only a few attempted to answer this question, but the correct answer to the largest ball of twine was Kansas. To be exact Cawker City, Kansas, by Frank Stoeber, his ball had 1.6 million feet, it weighs 19,900 pounds. He has since passed, but each year it continues to grow at its annual "Twine-a-thon".

Here's a head twister for you. Who were high heels originally created for? Men; Torture; Culinary purposes; Gardening ? Make your guess.

Challenge:

Psalm 48:1-2 "Great is the Lord. and greatly to be praised, In the city of our God, in the mountain of His holiness. 2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, On the sides ofthe north, the city of the great King."

You may be asking where is "the mountain of His holiness" well the simple answer is that this term is referencing Jerusalem, where the tabernacle dwelt and later the temple was built.

Well then, now you may be asking; Why is the description given here "beautiful for situation" ? That has an easy answer, for Jerusalem is surrounded on three sides by steep valleys, which naturally provided an effective barrier from any attacking armies. As well as, a placement which gives an elevated appearance on the prominent sides of the city. In fact the north side of the city was where the temple was constructed, as though the people were saying, "God can protect the most vulnerable location."

That brings to mind the question, "Where is your north side, the place that you feel most vulnerable in?" Once we determine this place, we need to determine in our heart that this is the place that we should worship our Faithful Lord God, for in that location He will uphold us, defend and protect us.

Is you place of vulnerability the place of fearfulness, sadness, overwhelming circumstances, challenges that seem insurmountable? Whatever challenge you may be facing today, that is the place to bow at His feet and surrender yourself to His ways. Come to that mountain of holiness, power and strength, and kneel at His throne, draw strength from this scripture. "Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised"

SO GO WITH GOD my dear child of the living God for He joys in bringing solutions into our places where we are most vulnerable today. Oh, my dear one, take that fear, or uncertainty, and offer it up as a sacrifice for Him to fulfill an experience of praise and joy.

Draw strength from your meditation on His words, gather your strength from "the mountain of His holiness.... the city of the great King." He alone has solutions where we have questions, strength where we feel weak, solace where we are fearful.
