Trivia:

Do you know what is the most common surname found in the U.S.? Smith; Brown; Miller; Jones. Make your guess.

Challenge:

Psalm 91:9-13 "If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the most high your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will comes near your home. 11 For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; You will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!"

As we look about our world we are reminded by Moses in this third part of chapter 91 of Psalms, of the need for an eternal, all powerful, being to exist. To recognize that there is evidence in the history of mankind that God in fact does exist, and participate in a world of people who matter to Him and where He protects them from the evil one.

In fact in verses 9 Moses lays out the condition for living in a world where hope, meaning and purpose are seen, "If you make the Lord your refuge, ... your shelter." Then verse 10-12 relays to us the result of these actions in our life. "He (God) will conquer evil... plague, and offer protection wherever you go ."

Then in verse 13 you will notice the extent of God's care for us in a life dependent on Him in our life. The lion, most deadly snake, most powerful earthly force, the dragon, the king of the jungle, the lion, all of these are refering to Satan the most active force in our world. "He will be trampled."

As we look around us in todays culture we can't help but recognize a groups of people called the "nones". Who are these people? Well they are those who have no recognition of an eternal, all powerful God. They fail to look throughout history and recognize the many, inumberable accouints of His existence throughout the historical landscape. From Adam & Eve, the flood, the many times that Israel faced destruction and yet how God intervened in these events.

When we stop to consider the outcome of living in this hopeless, uncertain, limited life style, we can't help but recognize the existence of God swirled throughout man's many challenges. His provision for those who draw near to him. The destitute position that those who refuse to recognize our eternal God's care for us throughout time. which is especially evident in this Christmas season, the coming of a Savior to bring forgiveness and salvation to all who will openly place their trust in Him.

I am continually amazed at the empty existence of those who live in fear, uncertainty, hopelessness; of those chose to place their confidence in an empty world, without any hope in God, but rather insist on trusting climate change, rather than the God of the climate.

I chose to live and abide, and dwell in the secret, constant place with the eternal, all powerful living Lord. To rather than test My Father's existence, to rather learn of the many benefits of trusting in my God who proves daily that He is trustworthy.

We will see tomorrow the many evidences of His existence throughout the expanse of time.

SO GO WITH GOD for He proclaims His existence and care for mankind, and yes even us, we celebrate this wonderful that came to us thousands of years ago, "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Take time to look at the many times that "This day" is used in scripture in fact over 900 times. In answer to those who question the existence of God and His care for those who come to Him. God answers them by saying, "This day" over the centuries more than 900 times He stands out as a living proof of His existence and care for you my dear friend. Why not walk with Him? For He cares for you and will daily be present in your life when you draw to Him.
