Trivia:

Good guess everyone. The correct answer to yesterdays, riddle was, a glove.

Here was a funny yard sign I saw the other day. "Beware of Atack Rabbit" Thought you would get a kick out of that.

Challenge:

Psalm 4:8 "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me."

This peace spoken of in this verse is much more than a relaxation technique, rather it is a mind set that continually abides peacefully before our Lord. A mind set that stands the test of time. The writer is reminding us of the Lord's sufficiency, and the change that comes to a believers path in only eight short verses! He closes the Psalm with a picture of the peaceful sleep to the one who is mindful of God's care by his own personal experience.

Sadly, how much time we find ourselves wasting, and then sleeplessness we battle with, when only a short abiding prayer with our Savior will bring peace and tranquility to our lives.

As a boy I remember listening to my mother's daily study on the radio, with the teacher in which I would hear him close the door, his clothes russel as he bowed before our Father's presence, and then he would uphold requests of those who had written him of their concerns.

Then he would remind us by saying, "There, wasn't that comforting just coming into our Father's presence?" Then he would say, While were are here in the Lord's throne room, Why not share your needs with Him? Then he would stop for a minute of silence, and then close by reflecting on other listeners, answers to prayer. Then he would read the next verses and lead his listeners in a study of the Bible for that day.

SO GO WITH GOD my dear one for He know the challenges of this day and then the next day. Rest in His care, and pour out your heart before His almighty presence. He is listening for your voice and the words of requests, and praise before Him. Remember, you've got peace like an ocean, you only need lay down and rest in His gentle waves.
