Eggo's were originally called Froffles. The Dorsa brothers discovered this way to make waffles & freeze them. They first started selling waffle batter in a carton, but found sales were much improved by bringing them as prepared frozen waffles. So, they actually started mass production during the depression, because they could raise chickens who naturally had eggs on the farm & these were not able to be rationed.

On the lighter side; What do you call a snowman in the summer? Well of course, a puddle. Oh well, I'm still all wet.

Eccl. 2:24 "So I came to realize that there is nothing better than to enjoy foods and drink and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God."

Solomon comes to the realization that happiness is a choice, and that productivity is a natural provider of happiness. Most people become somber & sad without physical work, while productive tasks bring joy. (3:12,13; 5:18-20; 8:15; 11:8-10)

He found that it is more fulfilling to acheive personal tasks, than to guide others to complete them. This effort when done in unison with God and His partnership results in an understanding of His supremacy which in turn brings a sense of joy, to our lives.

This conclusion comes into full view, that eat, drink, work, and rest all come from God. Even in the middle of a world of trouble, a believer can seize true joy from a loving Heavenly Father. Only He supplies the key to the meaning of life. Without God in our life, true meaning, satisfaction, and enjoyment illudes us. Even these mundane acts are gifts from God, which when we complete them in a grateful way, brings joy and fulfillment.

So our role isn't being wrapped up in future, but, rather should be focused on the present, with a commitment of trust in God, leaving the future to Him. Happiness is an elusive butterfly - the more you chase it, the faster it flies away. The only way to joy is to seek first the kingdom of God, then all that we have longed for will be added by Him. (Matt. 6:33)

So Go With God for He will bring satisfaction to your soul.
