Trivia:

Hey, happy hump day everyone. It was nice to see you all at ladies group. Good guess Lindsay, because there were yellow tennis balls early on in the sport of tennis, but not until 1972 did yellow become the normal color used in tournaments. Now today, they have advanced to an bright optic yellow, almost fluorescent in color. That is primarily used due to the fact that most tennis courts are green, or even grass, so yellow stands out more easily for a better view. I remember as a teen how these yellow balls made it easier to see out of the corner of your eye when I was competing in a rapid fire tournament.

On the lighter side:

Can you guess what they call a bear with no teeth? Well now, bear with me, for they actually call them, Gummy bears! after all they can't eat you so they just have to gum you too death. OHHHHHHH, that was, well, a toothless end. Hohoha!

Challenge:

Psalm 10:4-6 "The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. Yet they succeed in everything they do. They do not see your punishment awaiting them. They sneer at all their enemies. They think, "Nothing bad will ever happen to us! We will be free of trouble forever!"

This whole section of the chapter verses 3-11 describes those who refuse to recognize God in any way in their lives. And in reality they are for the most part fairly accurate, for after all Satan is the god of this world, so they seem to experience success in their dealings early on. However, Satan is a dirty double crosser and some other more advanced and wicked person will come across his path and then evil will bring harm to the least of these wicked dealers. For you see when man bargains with the devil, by ignoring the presence of God in his world, then he faces evil head on, and then he will ultimately lose.

Why? because, as that phrase in verse 5b says, "They do not see your punishment awaiting them" They fail to recognize that the creator God has instilled a consequence for dealing wickedly in the lives of all of those who ignore His presence (justice) in their lives. The next phrase clarifies the punishment they face, "They sneer at all their enemies. They think, Nothing bad will ever happen to us!".

What they fail to recognize is that when you bargain your life away with evil, Satan whose desire it is to bring death and destruction to all, he will bring capital T TROUBLE into their lives. For you see fairness, justice, favor have no place in Satan's evil world. They also have no place in the lives of those who deny God's existence.

So when they make a deal with the Devil he always, double deals with others who are best able to deal destruction in their lives. Though Satan is a powerful influence in our world when we ignore God and His mighty power to protect His children from evil, then the evil ones, will fall when they line up against God and His promises to protect His children. We see this truth over and over in the Biblical history. God will ultimately always win. Evil will seem to experience success, but in the final end, those who live in partnership/league with Satan, God will always intervene and their ultimate destruction will come.

SO GO WITH GOD my dear one for He will always bring blessings into our lives, for we are His children and He always cares for His own family members.
