Imagine that, it’s Thursday, Happy Thursday to you. You may be asking, Just where did the idea of the turning of the tassel come from? Well I’m glad you ask.

The tassel has been around for several thousands of years, it was always used as a marker of rank, or social status. Oxford students wore different colored tassels to denote their status or class. The moving of the tassel is a more modern exercise, to denote the completion of a field of study.
