Hey what a blessed day we have before us. A day of worship with our God and a day of fellowship with His children. I can’t wait to share this next benefit from our goal (focused) outlook. Just think goals are our statements of our faith and trust in God. When we set a goal we feel God has urged us to set, that is putting our faith in Him to the test. You see dreams or resolutions have no value in our lives until we move forward in achieving them with accountability and standing on God’s power. In fact it’s making them specific, measurable, and beginning with steps that they become acts of faith. Jesus said this to the blind men in Matt. 9:27-29 “As Jesus went from there, two blind men followed Him, calling out, Have mercy on us Son of David. ... He asked them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? Yes Lord, ... According to your faith will it be done to you; and their sight was restored.” They had to take great steps of faith, Then Jesus empowered them to be healed. So also we need to do this — to attempt to do something we can’t do in our own strength. You see that’s the story of the Church — attempting extraordinary goals and trusting God to help us reach them.

I believe that our God has that in mind for our church this year, but we each have to begin by asking Him what His goals are for us now. I can’t wait to see what extraordinary feats He will do through us as we focus on His power this 2022. Blessings on you my dear one, look to him like the blind men did.
