The virtuous woman is so outstanding that they, her children & husband; bless & praise her. In the coming verses we will find just why this is true in her life.
Their admiration goes beyond her physical accomplishments alone, we will see beyond those feats in the coming verses. But certainly her physical efforts are exceptional, for those nearest to her, recognize her many skills that are worthy of their praise.
This whole passage brings to the forefront the special duties & skills that are necessary for the woman of the house. After all, mom makes the home more than just a building or house, it becomes a place of high regard, of great importance, because of her many efforts.
Now just for a few minutes, bear with me. Who does the hurt child call out to for comfort? So who does the child desire to be recognized by for their accomplishments? Who does the NFL football player call out to on national TV? Yep, you got it "Mom". You may ask just why is this true?
According to a pew pole who has been studying this difference for many years, they have found that most moms manage at least 78% of their children's critical activities, while most dads generally conduct these duties at a 22% ratio.
This fact alone recognizes, why this verse points to the importance & also is the reason for these in kind responses, are generally true by the children. Us dads owe great honor & respect to the women of our world. I for one, am dependent on Becky to direct my attention to my children & grandchildren's emotional conditions. I may totally miss out on those internal concerns, while she is focused like a lazer on those issues. I for one am eternally indebted on her intuition on these concerns.
Women can multi-task with unprecedented skill beyond any man that I have ever known. We may be able to keep two or three things in focus, but all of you women can keep a myriad of things in balance. When I watch my daughters in their managing of their children I am amazed. Many times I hear Becky speaking through them, its really uncanny. Their voice inflection, calmness, comforting skill, etc.
So Go With God for today is a very complexing time where home & family are in the target range of the enemy. So this area, our children are of vital importance. Oh dear one put & keep your confidence in our loving Lord, for He will direct His love through you as you lean into Him. Then He will aid you in this most vital arena. Your home.
