Can you guess what is the most abundant element in the universe? Is it oxygen; Helium; Hydrogen; or is it Carbon? Make a guess, more on this next week.
So can you guess; Who's in charge of the school during summer vacation? Well of course, The rulers, cause no one else measures up. Ho ha. Sorry about that, but its the weekend what can I say?
Saturday 9/16
Eccl. 4:16 "There was no end of all the people over whom he was made king; Yet those who come afterward will not rejoice in him. Surely this also is vanity and grasping for the wind."
Solomon despairs in the fact that regardless of his wise leadership, in time he would be despised anyway, for the youth had became foolish in their own thinking, which resulted in his wisdom being seen as useless. His conclusion was that; "Today's hero may become tomorrows beggar." The popular demands of the inexperienced youth bring true wisdom to come to ruin.
The hunger for the uniqueness, and obscurity, results in a huge popularity for that, but ends up just being the rage of the moment. And in turn ends up getting old and then passing into obscurity. The rage of the moment will result in rejection in time. Popularity & validity will wane in the mind of the present day thought.
For instance, where are the ever popular bell bottom jeans of the past? Today its skinny jeans, right? Now its wild bold colors, tomorrow it will be greys, and pastels. Remember the wide wild colored ties, which then turned into the vogue for men's skinny tie, and now it is the dark medium ties. One thing is sure, there will be change. Early on the flip phone was the rage, then the large screen phone became the desirable size, now the folding phone is slowly becoming the more desirable style.
So what is the lesson we learn from this tendency to crave change. Recognize this tencency of our world and recognize your personal present value and refuse to be thrown off by these tendencies. Because if you hold onto who you are for long enough then you will become the unique new trend of tomorrow.
The beauty of this lesson is "He never changes", Our Fathers changeless qualities are always desirable. He stands the test of time, we can always depend on His love, care, and compassion, amidst the whirlwind of todays world.

So Go With God for He will love you through the various changes of life. Remember phone booths, clothes lines, phone books, etc. etc. Who would have thought they would fall into absolution? Now where can Superman change into his super character clothes.
My dear one rest in the certainty of His love for you. John 3:16 is still the truth regardless of others reasonings. Our Father being alive in our hearts & minds is still in force in our lives. Remember He loves you, He has created you with an eternal purpose, and He will never see you as dull, or undesirable. He yearns for you to be in fellowship with Him.
By the way what are some past trends that are gone now that you can share with us? Can you add any to share with us & any other reminiscing thoughts?
