Happy Tuesday to you. Hey, do you know what you have left if you take away ear from the word bear? Have you guessed yet? Well you guessed right the answer is B—
You know Bear take away ear you got the B left. Oh well that’s a pretty eerie joke.
Our meditation for today is
Prov. 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run in to it and are safe.”
While there are more than 100 uses of “The name of the LORD” in the Bible this is the only time it is used in Proverbs. Solomon told his sons of the place that God wants to have in our lives, our tower, of faithfulness, power, mercy, security, & safety from all human, earthly forces.
The tower is spoken of in the scripture as both a place to watch from & a place of refuge.
David wrote & sang on the Day of the LORD Psalm 18:1-3 this beautiful song. “I will love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress (tower) and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.“
So go with God for the Lord is; and wants to be our refuge from all evil, all we must do is request His presence in our life. He will be there for us to rush in to Him For safety from all the worlds evil.
