HEY, IT IS TRUE THAT CATS SLEEP AT LEAST 15 HOURS A DAY. In fact all of these hours aren't usually rolled into one time, but usually 30 minutes at a time.
Well since you all are so wise about cats, How bout this brain teaser. Which sport was invented by a YMCA employee? Baseball; Basketball; Ice hockey; Roller derby? Make a guess.

Eccl. 2:11 "But as I looked at everything I had worked so hard to accomplish, it was all so meaningless--like chasing the wind. There was nothing really worthwhile anymore."
Solomon took time to look back and was reminded, that without Christ at the wheel of our lives, all of the things, accomplishments, and yes even relationships outside of our focus being on Christ, these are useless. Trying to satisfy ourselves through any effort within the human realm is empty, only those things which are guided, controlled by His Spirit will bring fulfillment.
Now don't get me wrong, he didn't conclude that nothing good could be gained from these experiences, but rather nothing permanent could be gained. In other words, all of these varied accomplishments no matter how enjoyable at the moment, still they are only temporary.
You see the common thinking is; if I just get or acheive this next thing I'll be happy, whether it is the next raise, next relationship, next degree, next million dollars, still apart from our walk with God, its all empty. Anything we can attain in this life have a limit as to their benefit. Only our eternal efforts can bring fullfilment.
So Solomon came to the ultimate realization that things done in this world are only temporary. Rather than putting so much emphasis on this lifetime, we must cast our efforts on those issues that are outside this life. That doesn't mean that we should have no concern for the things that we should be achieving now, but rather in the middle of these things, we should keep our eyes focused on the road ahead. (eternal matters)
Many in our world allow the present benefit to take the priority, rather than be correlated with the future. We must be careful to keep the main thing the main thing. Our walk with Jesus must be our focus at all times.
So Go With God for even those efforts when accompanied with God & His purposes will bring a richness incomparable to the things of this life. Its not the visible accomplishments that matter, rather its the eternal guidance of our Father thats brings a completeness to our lives. This next section vs. 12-17 will point out for us the outlook of man without a proper relationship with Him.
