Trivia:

Well happy Wednesday. The correct answer of the question, How do you wish someone a happy birthday in french? In most french speaking countries, it is "Joyeux anniversaire" or "Bon anniversaire" is the most common expression, however, in Quebec they also say "Bonne fete".

Challenge:

Ecclesiastes 8:17 "I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim."

This conclusion is consistent with the words spoken in the Bible in other places, for example:

Job 5:9 "He does great things too marvelous to understand...."

Psalm 73:16 "So I tried to understand why the wicked prosper. But what a difficult task it is!"

Eccl. 3:11 "Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end."

Rom. 11:33 "Oh, how great are God's riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and His ways!"

Our conclusion to these sayings is that even Solomon the receiver of wisdom from God. If he can't understand all of God's workings, then probably no on this earth can. You see, no matter how much wisdom a person can attain, human wisdom is limited. For even Job's friends were unable to correctly offer a proper reason for Job's suffering in Job 4-42. You see, God's ultimate purposes are unknowable.

So you see my dear friend, no matter how wise we may be, we'll never have adequate answers as to why things take place in the way they do. But, instead the Bible does promise us a peace that passes all understanding. Phil. 4:6,7 "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Just look at His promise, all things will ultimately work for good, that He is on the throne, and that no matter how it appears, all will be settled when He returns to this earth.

What a plan for rest! We must learn to know that all the parts of the puzzle of life can ever be made complete, can never make total sense, but in His time everything will be made perfect.

Remember, 2 Chron. 13:12 "So you see, God is with us. He is our leader. His priests lead us into battle against you. O people of Israel, do not fight against the Lord, the God of our ancestors, for you will not succeed!" The armies of the tribe of Judah were given the victory, because they continued to be obedient and surrendered to God.

SO GO WITH GOD for He is wise in all of His ways, in fact He is perfect. The initial results may appear to be foolish in the ways of man, but He always makes our ways perfect in His time. Oh my dear one STOP allowing fear to reign in your heart and mind. Remember, just as Judah experienced God's victory, so also you will experience His victory for you as you follow in His ways.
