Trivia:

Well contrary to common thought, the Bell Pepper is a fruit it us usually thought to be a Bulb due to its flavor not being sweet, but it is a common dish that brings a unique flavor to many dishes, taco, burrito, etc.

Here is an interesting factoid. What is the Latin Root word for "Trivia" refering to? A Question; or a Trial; maybe a Quiz; or possibly a Commonplace. Why not make your guess on this word?

Challenge:

Psalm 75:4-12 "I warned the proud, "Stop your boasting!" I told the wicked, "Don't raise your fists!" 5 "Don't raise your fists in defiance at the heavens or speak with such arrogance." 6 For no one on earth--from east or west, or even from the wilderness--should raise a defiant fist. 7 It is God alone who judges; He decides who will rise and who will fall. 8 For the Lord holds a cup in His hand that is full of foaming wine mixed with spices. He pours out the wine in judgement, and all the wicked must drink it, draining it to the dregs. 9 But as for me, I will always proclaim what God has done; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob. 10 For God says, "I will break the strength of the wicked, but I will increase the power of the godly."

This Psalm has an interesting twist. The writer is warning all of mankind to be careful when they think too highly of their own power and wisdom (raised fist). For their defiance and arrogance will ultimately come to loss. You may be asking; Why should I be concerned about proclaiming my defiance?

Notice also in Verse 6 the writer refers to us just who or in what direction comes our strength. Note its not from the east or west or south. Don't you wonder just why he doesn't mention the north? Well I believe that's because the Bible refers to the north as the dwelling place of God in several verses, for instance in Isaiah 14:13 where Satan declares that the north is God's place in His creation. Then in Psalm 42:2 it says God's dwelling place is on "Mount Zion, the holy mountain." Which by the way is to the northern most location of the promised land.

Verse 7 informs us as to why we should not lift up ourselves in pride, "It is God alone who judges" and the evidence for this is by those who are lifted up and those who fall down.

Then in verse 9 the Psalmist proclaims his intentions to all the world, "I will always proclaim what God has done," then he lays out the evidence for this praise that he proclaims. He then refers to his praises being given to the people of Jacob. This name is spoken of as a representation of God's constant provision and protection in more than 50 passages in the Bible for His people Israel.

I believe he speaks of this as evidence of just why we should believe in God, why we should tell others of Him, and why we should place our constant trust in His care for us.

SO GO WITH GOD for He has proven over and over throughout all of time, that He is worthy of our trust in His faithful watch care in our lives. From Adam and Eve, to the nation of Israel, to our very present position. He is definitely deserving of our undying confidence & praise.
