Happy Wednesday I’m glad your midway through your work week.
What did the elephant do when he hurt his toe? He called a tow truck, he had to keep it in tow.
Our meditation for today is Prov. 17:13 “Whoever rewards evil for good, Evil will not depart from his house.”
Look at how The Bible contrasts “evil for good” with “evil with good”
Prov. 20:22 “Don’t say, “I will
recompense evil;” Wait for the
Lord to handle the matter.”
Matt. 5:43-45 “You have heard
that the law says, “Love your
neighbor and hate your enemy. but I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute
you! In that way, you will be
acting as true children of your
Father in heaven. For He gives
his sunlight to both the evil and
the good, ...
1 Peter 3:9 “Don’t repay evil for
evil. Don’t retaliate with insults
when people insult you. ...”
While if we as children of light reward good for evil, the Father will always reward blessings to those who determine to bless those who have done evil to them.
God always brings blessings to those who follow in His ways.
So Go With God and trust Him to reward that intention to bring blessing to everyone regardless of how you have been treated.
