Trivia:

Good guess everyone regarding the "Queen of Country Pop" Shania Twain. In fact she has sold over 100million records.

On the other side of things. Do you know which ingredient are apple pies sometimes topped with? Salt; Olive Oil; Pepper or Cheddar Cheese. Make your guess.

Challenge:

Psalm 37:3,9,11,22.29,34 "Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land. The lowly will possess the land and will live in peace and prosperity. Those the Lord blesses will possess the land, but those He curses will die. The godly will possess the land and will live forever. Put you hope in the Lord. Travel steadily along His path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed."

Each of these verses offered a promise and a condition.

Verse 3 Condition: Trust the Lord & carry out good works and they will live safely, and prosper

Verse 9 Condition: Wait on the Lord and they and their children will inherit the land

Verse 11 Condition: If we live humbly before God, we will live peacefully and experience many blessings

Verse 21,22 Condition: Those who live generously and mercifully will experience prosperity in the land

Verse 29 Condition: Those who live with the desire to please God in all they do will experience eternal gain

Verse 34 Condition:Those who wait patiently and obey His words and they will be lifted up

Throughout this Psalm David after a lifetime of struggle and even being the victim of many people who had foisted on him many wicked schemes, as an experienced man shares his advice on just how we should react when we find ourselves the victim.

In verse 3 the condition he was speaking about, acting rightly, wasn't talking about a breezy optimism, and then hoping everything will turn out OK. Rather it meant us placing a deep, abiding reliance on God, and a strong confidence on God's Word never failing.

We see this very promise again left to us in John 10:27 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know then, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will ever snatch them away from me, ... For no one can snatch them from our Father's hand."

SO GO WITH GOD my dear one, for He always keeps His promises.

Ugh! I would vote sprinkles of sugar if that was a choice.
