Happy Thursday to you. Hey, do you know who has bigger hearts? Men or Women?

Well if you guessed women you were wrong. Men literally have bigger hearts. Now all you women out there don't come after me with a stick. Women metaphorically have bigger hearts, just not literally.

Medically women as a whole; have smaller internal organs. That is why their hearts beat faster. Their smaller hearts have to beat faster to supply an adequate blood supply. Women generally beat 78 times per minute, while men beat 70.

Well, I better get out of this. Ha. Our meditation for today is Prov. 21:31 "The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord."

Now, this verse isn't condemning preparation for conflict, but instead is speaking of relying on God & His working in our lives for protection & guidance.

We can do everything in our power for preparation, but nothing will override God,s power & influence. We need to always remember that success is dependent upon God.

Without Him, I can't; Without Us, He won't. It's a partnership that lasts throughout eternity. Victory is in God's hands.

Reminds me of Ezra 8 as he lead the remnant of Israel back into Jerusalem. Their defense was placed in God. Vs 23 "So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and He heard our prayer.

Just think they had no army to count on they were a defeated people. Slaves returning to God's land. Vs. 24 their defense was 12 priests; they were allowed to take back with them 24 tons of silver; 7,500 lbs. of silver; 7,500 lbs. of gold; 20 gold bowls; 2 bronze vials; all these they were allowed to return to the temple in Jerusalem.

Remember they were traveling across desolate land where gangs of robbers spent their time robbing, looting, etc. BUT GOD protected them back to His Chosen Land.

So Go With God for there is no greater force for protection & care than our Loving Heavenly Father. When Our trust in God is Pre imminent He will be Prominent.

Thank you for this great and wise statement : Without Him, I can't; Without Us, He won't. It's a partnership that lasts throughout eternity. Victory is in God's hands.
