Well, Can you guess what an escalator says when it stops working? Nothing, it just stairs. It’s as is a popular saying in Mo. “It has a catch in its get along.”
Prov. 25:2-3 “It is God‘s privilege to conceal things and the king’s privilege to discover them. No one can comprehend the height of heaven, the depth of the earth, or all that goes on in the king’s mind!
God shows His glory, and great unknowable power through His creation.
Look what Job says in Job 11:7 “Can you solve the mysteries of God? Can you discover everything about the Almighty.” Job 26:14 “These are just the beginning of all that he does, merely a whisper of His power. Who, then, can comprehend the thunder of His power?”
Then Solomon said these things to God, ”Give me an understanding heart so that I can govern your people well and know the difference between right and wrong. For who by himself is able to govern this great people of yours?”
While in Deut. 29:29, we read that the secret things belong to the Lord. He sees and know things we don’t see & can’t know. While kings and all sorts of powerful people need to investigate, in order to decide the best course of action, God knows everything & will guide us if we will seek His ways.
I think that the reason Jesus spoke in parables was somewhat in order that we & his disciples would get a glimpse of His great wisdom and then purpose to learn more of that wisdom. Just as Solomon learned, God’s ways are unknowable on our own.
Just as it’s impossible to know the full extent of earth, heaven, universe, so also, we cannot know the “Why” of every circumstance in our life. However, we can know that God knows the exact why and because of His love for us & those who we love He will guide & protect us through those “Why” times.
So Go With God for His ways are beyond finding out, but they are also bundled in His love for us His special children.
