Good morning my friends, it's FRIDAY; Hey do you know what nationality are most fish? Well of course they are Fin-nish. Ha ha this is true on every scale. Oh, sorry about that play on words.

Well the average Giraffes tongue is 18 inches long, perfect for reaching & foraging tall trees & leaves.

Friday 8/25

Eccl. 3:11,12 "Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can."

Several things are being looked at in these verses.

  1. God has created everything beautiful (yapheh) which means, perfect, good, appropriate.

  2. He has planted in our heart eternity (an understanding of the reality of His eternal nature)

  3. Man also has the desire to understand how they fit into His plan for life

  4. No human being can know or understand everything that God has in mind (Eccl. 8:16,17)

  5. So since it is impossible for any man to understand His infinite plans we must learn to relax, put our trust in His eternal desire to love & care for us; so then we can joy & rejoice in His many works

Eccl. 7:13,14 "Accept the way God does things, for who can straighten what He has made

crooked? Enjoy prosperity .., & hard times & realize that both come from God."

SO GO WITH GOD for He has made things beautiful in His plan. Just think He has made you

perfect, beautiful. So walk in His ways, then you will never regret His lovely outcome in your life.

Back to the story of my grandparents from yesterday. Upon all of them coming to know the Lord, they began to live with a new deminsion. Earl in talking & studying the Bible began to take a new direction in his business, instead of fighting neighboring gas stations for survival with gas wars, he & his fellow believers decided to just promise good mechanical service.

He decided to pick up cars of fellow believers, take them to the shop and conduct regular service, oil changes & inspect the cars for any other needs, then return them to the location assigned & bill them reasonably for the service. Still sell gas, but be focused on regular needed service, wash them, service them & then return them (special combination lock box to hold car keys) on their return.

This plan became the envy of mechanic shops, his sons & other young men in the church became the valet service, etc. After this plan was being implemented, it went so well that they began a men's believers study at the church that set out to determine how they could live in the light of His plans for them.

After a number of years Earl retired & turned the business over to two of his sons.

The lesson here is To Go With God even in your business & He will bring blessing, purpose & joy to your life, wherever you are.

Oh, my dear one, don't get caught up in trying to understand or make sense of the things in your present life, rather joy in what He has in mind in your future. He'll keep you guessing & joying in the coming days.
