Trivia:

Happy Tuesday everyone, all of your guesses were very good, however, Clarke Gable was regarded the King of Hollywood". His acting career lasted for more than 37 years. He was named the seventh greatest male star of classic American cinema.

Challenge:

Ecclesiastes 10:13 "Fools base their thoughts on foolish assumptions, so their conclusions will be wicked madness."

Today there has begun to be much confusion in regard to real scientific conclusions. You see true science is based on the process of developing a proper conclusion, or the best end result. Then the process of changing variables is most effective when order is developed to bring the best conclusion. Then the scientist or group of scientists determine whether the hypothesis was correct.

Solomon here is addressing this very process. Rather than proceeding to learn and evaluate various conclusions in an inductive process, the fool determines his own right conclusions without the study of actual proper guidelines, and best conclusions.

The Bible is filled with wisdom that has been found in a myriad of factors. For instance the book of Proverbs is a glossary of conclusion and evidences from thousands of years of study. The Bible is a compilation of the study of all of mankind and then God's all knowing conclusions.

This verse is clarifying why foolish people end up in total madness though they may have studied many present day human conclusions. This is why many modern day scientists of today are so misguided. They fail to look as the thousands of years of man's past research. Many young scientific men today disregard the scientific research of billions of intelligent researchers over thousands of year, by discounting their knowledge as antiquated.

Solomon is pointing us to established conclusions, rather than being influenced by present day foolishness. You may say to me, what are some of these present day foolish conclusions? Well here are just a few of them.

Thinking that an individual is a woman even though he was born with a male anatomy just because

of how he feels. Rather than realizing that you are uniquely created by God and may have seasons

of confusion, varying feelings, interests, etc. and these aren't necessarily permenant. We see many

young people today being forced into changing their appearance without realizing that maybe

their lack of fulfillment isn't based on their appearance, feelings, etc.

Solomon is reminding us that we should dig deeper in life than just some surface conclusions. Why? Because our initial feelings, thoughts, and conclusions could be guiding us to paths of madness, and ultimate harm.

Question? Have you ever been so depressed that you considered taking steps to ending your existence? Have you after deep meditation before God been brought to a more reasoned solution?

We're your thoughts for the moment really madness, wickedness? Well if we are truely honest with ourselves we must answer, Yes, Right?

Through this little exercise can we recognize that outside of our communion with our Father God we can find ourselves driven by a moment of madness? Satan attempted to lead our Savior to end His life and halt His mission to pay for our cleansing. Imagine that for a minute. If He the Son of God could be faced with this temptation, then is Satan any less desirous in his striving to push us to destruction?

SO GO WITH GOD my friend when the enemy is attempting to bring harm to you, or to others in your life. Remember Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, "says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Throughout the Bible Jesus says "I know". Why not lean on His knowledge rather than on your present feelings, for the enemy seeks to bring harm to our lives and the lives of the many others that we love. But our loving Savior promises rescue, deliverance, power, blessing, and a bright future.

Why not join me today in being confident that He knows our future and loves us and will never let go if we will only but "hold on". Jesus even in His human state while on earth did; and look at the result, an innumerable kingdom of saints, washed by His blood, and standing in His forgiveness. Our mission is the same "Stand for His glory. Don't fall for the enemy's foolish conclusions."

Well, I sure liked Clark Gable playing Rhett Butler in Gone With The Wind. My favorite secular book and movie of all time!
