Well Happy Monday everyone. I hope everyone enjoyed an enjoyable Mother's Day. Way to go Brenda you got it right as to where Coca-Cola is not available for sell. North Korea & Cuba.
On the lighter side:
Do you know what washes up on very small beaches? Well of course, Micro-waves, Ho Ha
Challenge:
Psalm 9:19,20 "Arise O Lord! Do not let mere mortals defy you! Judge the nations! Make them tremble in fear, O Lord. Let the nations know they are merely human."
This final phrase lays out the consequence of those who disregard God and His desires for mankind. He yearns for us to honor and follow in His ways, for in His wisdom He knows that our blessings and fulfillment are only found as we honor and walk in His ways. Apart from this path nothing can bring the greatest enrichment that He desires for us.
Oh, we can find temporary happiness apart from Him, but in the end it falls short of the ultimate life He desires for us. Until we come to the realization of just who we are, "mere mortals". We will never experience the richness that He has in mind for our lives.
You see as mere humans we can not know or understand what is ahead in our lives. In fact, what our loving Heavenly Father has in mind in our future can only be experienced when we come to grips with our weakness and His strength. "We're mere mortals and He created the entire universe.
When we begin to reason that we are the master of our future, and our happiness reigns supreme, that's when we experience frustration and disappointment. Not until we learn to follow His words and rest our future in His hands will we truly joy in life where we are. So my friend remember that your life isn't half full, it is full and overflowing to the extent that we walk in His ways.
SO GO WITH GOD for He makes no mistakes, He never leads us out of His ways. We are to set our mind on this one purpose, "Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." As Sheldon reminded us recently, Fly as Hign as the eagle, for these are the times of blessing and enrichment.
