Did you know that in the 90's Harvard researched what factors most contributed to their students success. They found that testing, grades, or even class attendance weren't the primary factors. It was study groups that stood out over all factors. How about that?
So when people say "I can grow by attending TV church", they are only partially right. Growth is best accomplished by group learning, in person services, Bible study (life classes, etc.). Very interesting.

Prov. 23:19-21 "My child, listen and be wise: Keep your heart on the right course. Do not carouse with drunkards or feast with gluttons, for they are on their way to poverty, and too much sleep clothes them in rags."
This Proverb has many warnings:
1) Listen to wise counsel
2) purpose to keep your heart right
3) stay away from those who are
controlled by: drinking, eating,
or laziness.
The inference here is that those who are controlled by these three things aren't capable of passing on wisdom.
They have the tendency of getting off course & becoming non-productive.
Our Father has given each of His spiritual children a gift. Unless we are busily developing & using that gift we will fail to keep on course.
Just like when we are traveling we need to refer to our immediate & final destination in order to best reach it. Whether we use a physical map, or GPS or Mapquest on our phone it is necessary to regularly refer to it.
If using a GPS then if traffic becomes congested or there is an accident on the road you can divert your movement in another direction to save time & resources. (Wise ways)
In the same way when we refer to the Bible for instruction & guidance the Spirit will divert our course away from harmful movements.
So Go With God then His Spirit will guide your ways. He will cause you to develop your gifts in profitable ways.
