Trivia:

The proper medical term for forgetting a name or word is Lethologica. What funny here is that the rest of the words are often used in common language. Way to go Lindsay you got the medical term.

Here’s another brain teaser. Where did Cobb salad originate? New York City; Madison; Miami; Los Angeles? Make your guess.

Psalm 34:8-14 “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him! Fear the Lord, you His godly people, for those who fear Him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. Come, my children, and I will teach you to fear the Lord. Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and you lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for

help. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; He will erase their memory from the earth. The Lord hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the

broken-hearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”

David continued to pass on the many benefits of revering the Lord. Notice the order that we are directed to follow, though the tendency is to see then if it is pleasing then taste it, however, the Lord requests us to taste it first then you’ll see it’s goodness.

Here the promise isn’t that the believer won’t lack anything but rather that he won’t lack any good thing. Here is where faith comes in, Faith isnt demanding that you get your way. Faith is trusting in the lovingkindness, in the perfect wisdom, in the character of your Father.

Even though David had lots of trouble, he still wanted to pass on God’s wisdom to the inexperienced ones.

How can you have a full and profitable life? Watch what you say. If you speak hurtful words about others it will burn you in the process. However, if you speak truthful, kind words, the Lord will lift you up, He will bring Peace into your life, He will hear the cries of His children.

SO GO WITH GOD then He will

bring peace, blessing and joy upon all who follow His ways.

G. Campbell Murdoch put it this way “We may argue about God, His existence, and His eternal evidences which His universe and providence provide. But only when His love and presence touch our Hearts can we really know Him in His unspeakable

Goodness.
