Have you ever woke up out of a deep sleep with a penetrating question? Such as, is "huh" a word.

Well just in case you have. Official linguists have determined that it is a word for several reasons.

1) Children don't use the word until they started speaking.

2) All known languages have a variation to the word.

Now, Don't you feel better with that deep question answered? Haha

Prov. 23:22,23 "Listen to your father, who gave you life, and don't despise your mother when she is old. Get the truth and never sell it; also get wisdom, discipline, and good judgement."

This verse points out three things:

1) Our parents should be our

primary providers of wisdom,

and point us to the way to get

more

2) Respect is to be ageless to our

parents, regardless of whether

they deserve it or not

3) Wisdom is to be given our

greatest value in life, for from it

comes discipline & good

judgement

Job affirms these facts in Job 28:15-19

Years of experience brings understanding & discipline which alone should cause our parents to be respected.

If we pay the price to gain wisdom we will become a joy to our Heavenly Father, parents, children, and all those after us.

So Go With God, He will bring understanding, richness to our acts of discipline, and depth to our joy. Regrets & fears are erased from our lives as we give ourselves to Him.
