Good morning Have you ever lost some change during your walk through security in the bins at the airport? Well guess how much loose change was collected in 2020 from all air ports. More than $500,000 & in 2019 more than $900,000. Wow!!!
This mornings meditation is found in Prov. 18:5 “It is not good to show partiality to the wicked, Or to overthrow the righteous in judgement.”
Lady Justice on the Statue of Liberty is blind folded for the purpose of reminding us that our country has always attempted to be just in all our decisions.
This is not a recent principal in fact look at this instruction in the Bible:
God told Moses this in
Lev. 19:15 “Do not twist justice in legal matters by favoring the poor or being partial to the rich or powerful. Always judge people fairly.”
Moses instructed his judges in
Deut. 1:16 “You must hear the cases of your fellow Israelites and the foreigners living among you. Be perfectly fair in your decisions and impartial in your judgements.
Deut. 16:19 “You must never twist justice or show partiality… let true justice prevail.
In fact God has always told His leaders throughout the Bible that this principle was of the highest order (most important) in legal matters.
So Go With God and be careful to uphold true justice in your life and He will shower your life with His blessings. He will then bring that result out to the corrupt world around you in order to present the comparison of true justice between the righteous & the wicked.
