Trivia:

Don't you think that there should be a calorie refund for those things that don't taste as good as you expected?

What do you think can't be kept until it is given?

Challenge:

Psalm 9:6-8 "The enemy is finished, in endless ruins; the cities you uprooted are now forgotten. But the Lord reigns forever, executing judgement from his throne. He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness."

Here we see that God rebukes those who rise up against His children, and if they continue in conflict against them they will ultimately perish. The Hebrew word used here is "avad" this word occurs here in these verses three times. The conclusion that comes to be understood is that the enemies of God's children will perish even to the point of vanishing from their very existence.

Verse eight goes on to praise the level of God's justice with two Hebrew words "tsedeq" translated righteous ands "mesharim" translated true. The intimation of this verse is that all of those children of God who walk faithfully in His ways, may confidently seek refuge in Him for He rewards them by dealing fairly, and justly with them.

God's peace is always based on truth and justice, not on selfish evil or error. Paul used the first part of verse eight in his message message at Athens in Acts 17:30 when he spoke to them of the fact that God overlooks our ignorance, (our lack of knowlege of the future) but He commands that we repent and turn to Him and His ways.

In heaven the call will be this, "Righteous and true are Your judgements, O Lord." For in the end of all days whatever He (God) has done will always prove to be perfectly right and completely true without exception.

This weekend as we travelled viewing and traversing across death valley, as we studied the relics of our civilization. One thing that became abundantly clear to me was that to the extent that we as mankind attempted to accomplish with our God at the healm, to that extent we enjoyed His truth and blessing.

To the extent that we recognized His great power and desire to guide our lives it is to that extent that we prosper, but when we stobbornly refused to live in His paths for our lives we faltered. When we recognized His creation and design and we lived in harmony with that force we were benefitted, but when we rebelliously ignored His guidance we were prone to falter. Pride and rebellion are a horrible task master, however, humility and submission to an Almighty creator always brings progress.

SO GO WITH GOD and your life will never be filled with regret or loss. The near view may seem to be disappointing, but in the long perspective you will never feel let down or disheartened. Rest in His guidance and He will see you through.
