Well happy Thursday hope your not thursty Ha!

If there are 8 sheep, 3 dogs and one shepherd, how many feet are there? Ready for this one? Two. sheep have hooves; dogs have paws; only shepherds have feet. Sorry about that tricky quiz.

Todays meditation is in Prov. 16:15 “When the king smiles, there is life; his favor refreshes like a spring rain.“

This verses focuses on two things,

The benefit of favor from our

leaders

The blessings of favor from our

Lord

Notice that both kind leaders & loving Father’s are greatly beneficial to everyone.

Kind leaders bring joy, blessings, health, and community.

When a leader is happily

focused on the efforts of his

people there is a natural joy,

community among those he is

charged with.

When the leader is thinking

about ways to help others the

efforts of each one try’s to be

helpful to the community in turn When the leader is selfish,

controlling, harsh, then the

atmosphere is discontent,

disunity, and self interest

Our Heavenly Father is focused on

favoring each of us and

bringing, blessing & refreshment to our lives and the result is

eternal joy & hope.

Listen to Moses prayer for us God’s people in Num. 6:24-26 “May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show His favor and give you His peace.”

Those verses are a reflection of what our Loving Heavenly Father desires to pass on to each of us.

So Go With God and His loving favor will flow through your life and rub off on those people in your life and then will bring “favor like a spring rain.”
