Good morning please pause a few minutes to pray for the new residents of Florida in the middle of this storm that has proven to be their worst so far.

Todays meditation is the first of 30 words of counsel.

Prov. 22:22,23 "Don't rob the poor just because you can, or exploit the needy in court. For the Lord is their defender. He will ruin anyone who ruins them."

This begins with a warning to not purposefully harm those who have no defensive resources.

First those who are poor; this is speaking of those who have nothing to draw from, food of other resources.

To intentionally bring harm to those who are temporarily struggling in life issues. This may include weak, elderly, or those trapped by life circumstances.

Secondly, to not use the justice system to bring loss to others. Today we see this in affect in many differing avenues. From intentionally harming the justice system, through intimidation, skewing truth for personal gain, etc.

Why???? Because ultimately, Our loving Father will come to their defense. He will as the New King James Bible says "plunder their soul". Nothing compares to internal loss. In the Old Testament many of the kings of Israel & Judah were guilty of that action to their people. They intentionally brought harm to the poor & defenseless and true to His promise God took up their defense & many times the king was taken ill, or overcome by internal loss, (depression, anxiety, etc.).

Today we are seeing a rash of rich & powerful people using their positions to bring harm to common people. We are going to have a front row seat to see our Loving, just Father carry out His work in these circumstances.

In some circumstances we have already seen Him at work, but be assured His hand is not shortened regardless of extent of power these evil people hold.

Pharaoh one of the most powerful leaders of his day, defrauded Israel, but once they repented and put their trust in their Lord, He delivered them and ultimately destroyed the most powerful army of that time.

So Go With God for He will protect, defend, and care for us as we put our trust in Him. I have witnessed over & over His care for me; from a free tank of gas, to an engine overhaul graciously given. Our God Is An Awsome God!!!
