Well, it’s a new day and can you believe that it’s the beginning of the second month of the year 2022. Wow! already. Please continue to pray for healing and strength for Chris & Vicky.
Dear one, as we continue on our journey through Prov. 10:23-33 we see the stark comparison between the obedient believer and the rebellious, selfish person.
Solomon presents for us a picture of the two opposite people and the benefits of living righteously as well as the consequences of living foolishly Or selfishly.
Prov. 10:23 “Doing wrong is fun for a fool, but living wisely brings pleasure to the sensible. The fears of the wicked will be fulfilled; the hopes of the godly will be granted.”
In short basically we see the difference between them by:
their desires (10:23)
their motives (10:24)
their end (10:25)
The next difference lays out the blessings on the righteous one:
longevity of life (10:27)
hope-filled joy (10:28)
powerful action (10:29)
benefits of faithfulness (10:30)
earthly results of right living (10:31)
how this brings help & comfort to others (10:32)
What we must decide at each cross roads is which way will we take. The way of righteousness or of selfishness.
So also must all those around us make those same choices. Our desire & prayer should be that by our living example they will see the blessings of living obediently before our Father, particularly our children & grandchildren.
So go with God and you will have no regrets in 2022!!!
