Ecclesiastes 9:14
"And this is not all that is meaningless in our world. In this life, good people are often treated as though they were wicked, and wicked people are often treated as though they were good."
Solomon was reflecting on the fact that sometimes harm can come to even those who live righteously. Sometimes evil can come to those who live in righteous ways, no one is insured to any life can be promised. However, even though events aren't always sure our Father will for sure reward our right doings. If not here then in eternity.
He learned that though he was determined to follow God as his father David did, he learned that life didn't always result in immediate benefit. Sometimes, even harm came to his life, but if it did then it would result in some benifit in the long run.
Just as Solomon learned in his later life, the necessity of always running to God for refuge. The Psalms are full of verses relating to David's running to God, for only He can strengthen, aid, and give wisdom to, etc. Due to the evil in our world and the control that Satan has in our surroundings we are many times brought into harms ways.
SO GO WITH GOD for He will always bring blessing into our lives as we are surrendered to His will.
So my friend rest in His ways and you will be blessed in the coming days.
