Good morning! It appears that in today's culture, if you don't agree with someone's opinion on something that you can be "cancelled", as if your human card is revoked. We are seeing such a lack of tolerance for one another and the "sharing" of ideas, that conversations are being replaced with monologues. This lack of tolerance and void of coping mechanisms turns quickly to violence in many cases, or just personal attacks and the dredging up of old hurtful things said. I am not the man I used to be, Praise God, and this lack of grace and forgiveness for who or what used to be is another example of a godless society. Nothing new, "under the sun". LOVE, of country, for one another (regardless of political position), for God, is being replaced with hatred. Hardened hearts can happen anywhere if left to their own devices. Galatians 5 goes into great detail about walking in the Spirit. Vs14-15 "For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit]." But if you bite and devour one another [in bickering and strife], watch out that you [along with your entire fellowship] are not consumed by one another." Vs 26, "We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one another." Armor Up! Guard against having your opinion as the only opinion. Pride and self-righteousness both lead to a fall. Have a great day and God bless you !!
