Good morning my fellow believer each day is our gift from God so we should handle it wisely. Today especially as preparation for worthy worship of our Savior Tomorrow.

Todays meditation is found in

Prov. 14:3 “In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride, But the lips of the wise will preserve them.”

It was once said “No man can give the impression that he is clever and at the same time that Christ is mighty to save.”

We are reminded by this proverb that the boaster is his own worst enemy, and in fact strikes harm to himself. The person who speaks impulsively, and argumentatively brings harm to everyone. The contrast is the person who speaks with restraint, and care preserves himself & others.

If there ever was a time for us to carefully measure our speech it is today. It seems like on the internet that people are to comfortable with harsh, cutting words and they result in harm to the innocent one of our day. It is so easy to bring hurt to others with no thought of others devastation.

Fill your tongue with love and then look around to those who are drawn to those words.

Go With God and your gracious, merciful words will bring healing and preservation to our culture. Look for unique ways to use your conversation to bring honor to others.
