It's Monday, Wow what a whirlwind tour, thank you all for your prayers, we had a most enjoyable visit with so many new and old friends.

Trivia:

If you guessed that the animal that has a tongue twice the length of its body was a Chamelon you were absolutely right. Even though it has the ability to change colors to its surroundings is an amazing feat, its tongue is the most amazing tool that he has. It can go from 0 to 60 in 100th of a second, which is something that the world's fastest car is unable to acheive. So of course the question comes to mind. How is it possible for this animal to keep such a long tongue in such a small mouth? Well because its tongue has such elastic qualities it folds up like a accordion, while the end of the tongue secretes a sticky substance on its prey. That sounds quite amazing and creepy at the same time. So much for this critter.

Challenge:

Ecclesiastes 11:5 "Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother's womb, so you can not understand the activity of God, who does all things."

In this verse the writer draws to our attention to a few of God's wonders, the mystery of the wind being able to become such a powerful moving force, and the ability to bring life a small infant within the body of its mother and cause it to grow and develop until it can live and prosper outside its mothers womb.

Both of these trememdous wonders are accomplished at the hand of our Almighty God. They both demonstrate the mighty power of God around the world. These wonders are impossible for us to control or understand. Either the beginning of life, or the extensive power of something that is impossible for us to even see.

These illustrations of the mighty working of God in our life which defy our explanation are the reason for our faith in His care. In fact, our inability for understanding, explaining, or even influencing the miraculous works apart from our mighty God, give reason for our faith. This theme is refered to several times in this book, for instance in Eccl. 3:11; 8:17; 9:12 are just a few instances of this.

So these illustrate for us the need for us to gain an understanding of the emmensity of God's workings, and our need to place our trust and confidence into His hands. Even as. we cannot comprehend the strengths of the wind or the development of a baby in the womb of its mother. So we cannot understand all that God does or even why He does these things in our lives, but regardless of the limitations of our knowledge, even so, He is worthy of our confidence in His ways.

SO GO WITH GOD for surrounding us it more than enough evidence that He is in control of the huge and the seemingly insignificant events in our lives. SO BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD. Our fears should subside upon the full understanding of His works in our life. So my dear one rest in His care today, for He is worthy of your trust.

Just the many parts of this trip that we just completed and the many ways that He met our needs are living evidence of His care and love for us. My dear one rest in Him.
