Good morning everyone. Well we had some great entries on the 3 most popular hymns. I must say all them are great, thanks for taking the time to respond. These we're the hymns most often chosen on a broad survey.

1) Amazing Grace (this hymn has appeared on more than 11,000 music albums)

2) Great Is Thy Faithfulness this hymn has logged millions of hours on radio upon being requested

3) How Great Thou Art this hymn was qualified as the drop mic song in a major contest on One Place

On the lighter side: What is the saddest part of the week? You guessed it!! Monday mourning. Heigh Ho, It's off to work we go. At least its Tuesday so we got past that day. Ha ha

Prov. 29:13 "The poor and the oppressor have this in common-- The Lord gives sight to the eyes of both."

Just think God created both extremes of people -- the poor & the oppressor -- and He created them both with the ability to enjoy light, color, and beauty. In fact my perception is that the person of little possessions has the tendency to experience greater joy for the extreme beauty of creation.

As a young boy I remember the total enjoyment of on the hot humid afternoon, laying down on the soft, muddy bank of the creek, with my feet dangeling in the water, hearing the cool water rushing over the rocks in the creek, and the birds calling out. What a great place of enjoyment.

In Matt. 5:45 Jesus when speaking of God's expression of His love said this "For He (Father God) gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust alike."

The principle here is intent on reminding all mankind to remember that we all are dependent of God for life. So due to that fact we should a treat each other fairly & kindly. God sets the example for us. He shines His light on everyone equally.

In todays world there seems to be a great gulf between these two groups of people, however, in God's sight we meet on common ground. We all need His light for life. Without light the possibility of life is stifled.

In Prov. 22:2 we saw the contrast of the rich & poor man; while in this verse we see the contrast of poor & deceitful man. Unfortunately, many times riches & deceitfulness are found walking hand in hand.

In Heb. 7:26 the writer spoke of the qualities that Christ demonstrated to us; "For such a high priest became us, holy, guiless, (blameless) undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens."

These are the qualities that only Christ displayed in His life. These are unattainable for any human being, therefore we see why our cleansing, forgiveness, and salvation can only be made available for mankind through Him.

By the way this is a tremendous word study (blameless) found more than 50 times in the Bible.

So Go With God for He alone can bring all of these wonderful works to us. So rest in His changeless ways. You will never be disappointed.
