Good morning my dear believer please continue to pray for Tommy and Cynthia, as well as the war our world is in both in the physical as well as spiritual realm.
Our verse for today is Prov. 13:9 “The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out.”
When we think of godliness it is more than the absence of evil, or only negative (not doing) but it is mostly positive action.
John Wesley (founder of the Methodist church) taught his followers this:
Do all the good you can
By all the means you can
In all the ways you can
In all the places you can
At all the times you can
To all the people you can
As long as you ever can
It has also been said:
Life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forward.
The unbelieving world around us sometimes seems to have all the fun but the wise ones (God & Solomon) speak of life differently.
Knowing that God lovingly guides our steps as we attempt to follow Him, is a great encouragement.
So my dear one remember the Father’s promise of a holy life for it results in a life ”full of light & joy”
So Go with God and He will ultimately fill you with light & joy maybe not this very minute, but certainly soon.
